Language Courses
A beginner language course is usually available (no credit awarded).
Thesis/Final Project Work
Bachelor or master level students interested in working on their thesis or final project may do so, with prior permission. A faculty advisor can usually be arranged. Students can generally earn 6-12 ECTS (3-6 US credits).

Orientation
An orientation for incoming international students takes place just before the start of each semester.
Internships
Though placements cannot be guaranteed, on-campus or off-campus internships can usually be arranged (e.g., IT, research, non-profit organizations, hospitality, institutional marketing). Internships typically require a maximum commitment of 20 hours per week for up to 13 weeks. Academic credit may be granted, usually 12-18 ECTS (6-9 US credits).
Part-time Employment
The student visa allows for part-time employment up to 20 hours per week during the semester (40 hours per week during a semester break).
Students with Disabilities
The university can provide an individual academic advisor, psychological support and/or well being services, as needed.

An unofficial transcript can be obtained via the student portal. An official transcript will be issued to students after ratification of grades by the department assessment board; this process generally takes up to two weeks after the last examination.

As part of the admissions process, the university will request that you provide certain documents and they will apply for an entry permit at the Civil Registry and Migration Department on your behalf. Your entry permit/student visa must be granted prior to arrival in Cyprus.

Housing
On-campus dormitory or off-campus partner halls. Students can live in shared on-campus accommodation for approximately 500 EUR per month. This includes outdoor and indoor athletic facilities, a swimming pool, on-site laundry facilities, weekly cleaning, WiFi, utilities, and a 24-hour reception. Off-campus options cost approximately 650 EUR per month.
Meals
Students can prepare their own meals or enjoy the university cafeteria or local restaurants.
Transportation
Students should fly into Pafos International Airport (PFO) or Larnaca International Airport (LCA) and then take a taxi or public transport to the university.
A bus service is available for travel within the city and region.

Students have access to a variety of on-campus and off-campus activities. Retail shops and commercial centers are usually open from 9 AM until the late evening. Local fresh markets are available for shopping and cultural exploration.
Climate
Pafos has a Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and mild, wetter winters. Summer is hot and dry, with average highs around 84-86ºF/29-30ºC, while winter sees some rain and temperatures around 46-50ºF/8-10ºC.
